Stone Breathing — Gyorei, the Axe & Mace, and Six Trials

Updated Sep 20, 2026

Stone Breathing has the most demanding unlock in Slayers 2: fetch the Axe and Mace from the Stone Trainee, bring 5 Beast Cores to Gyorei at the mountain temple, then clear six trials.

Stone Breathing is the only style with a weapon prerequisite — you must carry the Axe and Mace to trainer Gyorei before he trains you. Expect the longest unlock questline of the eight, and the most satisfying.

Requirements

| Requirement | Amount | |---|---| | Level | 25 | | Axe and Mace | From the Stone Trainee (unique weapon prerequisite) | | Beast Cores | 5 | | Trials | 6 training exercises |

How to Unlock: Step by Step

  1. Reach Level 25.
  2. Take the Axe and Mace from the Stone Trainee — he patrols near the trainer's area. Stone is the only style with a weapon gate.
  3. Gather 5 Beast Cores from demon kills.
  4. Find Gyorei at the temple on the lower mountain path — the courtyard sits below the village, no climbing required. (Alternative route: teleport to the Hidden Mist Village Shrine and walk down.)
  5. Hand over the materials and clear all six training trials.
  6. Stone Breathing unlocks. Return at Level 50 for the Awakening tier.

Is Stone Breathing Good?

Stone reads as the tank's style: heavy, deliberate, punishing in the right hands. Early tier lists place it mid-pack — below Thunder and Sound — but its six-trial questline suggests the kit rewards mastery more than most. As always days after launch: rankings are snapshots, and balance patches are active.

(待确认: full move list and trial-by-trial walkthroughs are still being documented — this page updates as the community maps them.)
