Blood Manipulation and Ice Manipulation are the two best demon arts in Slayers 2 as of September 2026 — Blood for group PvE damage, Ice for PvP grabs and counters. At the other end, Temari Manipulation is widely ranked the weakest pick. Rankings below; one warning first: the game launched days ago and early data predates balance patches, so treat this as a snapshot.
Full Tier List — All 7 Demon Arts
| Art | Tier | Best at | Notes | |---|---|---|---| | Blood Manipulation | S | Group PvE, boss farming | Barrage-style moves that hit multiple enemies; called the best moveset in the game pre-balance | | Ice Manipulation | S | PvP, 1v1, counters | Grabs and counterplay; ProGameGuides' pick for best overall | | Reaper | A | Duels | Solid dueling potential | | Dream | A | PvP mind games | Situational but disruptive | | Shockwave | B | Duels | Viable, outshined by the top two | | Obi (Sash Manipulation) | B | Duels | Usable, needs the right build | | Temari Manipulation | C | — | Widely considered the weakest current pick |
Playstyle shortcut: grinding and boss farming → Blood Manipulation. Duels and PvP → Ice Manipulation. Anything else — pick what fits your clan roll and re-check after the next balance patch.
How to Become a Demon First
No art without the fangs. The demon path has three steps:
- Drop your Reputation to -40. The fastest route is defeating NPC slayers.
- Accept Muzan's invitation. At -40 he offers his two-part quest.
- Complete both quest parts — you are now a demon, with sun damage to manage and regeneration in the dark.
How to Get a Blood Demon Art
Arts come from the Demon Art Spin system. Once demon, you obtain an Evil Art Orb and complete its training quest to lock in your art (Muzan's lair is the access point per current guides). The catch: you start with only 5 rerolls. That is five chances at seven arts — check the tier list before your first spin, not after.
Why Rankings Might Shift
Two live risks to this list: balance patches (Blood Manipulation's dominance was measured pre-patch) and undocumented synergies (clan passives that boost specific arts). We re-verify monthly — or after any major patch, whichever comes first.
